Ongoing Reforms
●Equipping new concept of probation bureaus and offices with modern standards continues. Renovation of Rustavi and Gurjaani probation offices with new standards has been accomplished. Building new office of Guria probation bureau is in process. 

●Expending the service of video-conference is in process. It is planned to equip every probation bureau with the service. 

●Draft law has been prepared and submitted to the government session, according to which house arrest can be imposed on adults. In near future the draft law will be passed to the parliament for discussion. 

●Systematically continues renewing of electronic bases, for the purpose of seeking information and processing improvement. Integration of various institutions with electronic bases has been also implemented. 

●Renewing-adapting official website of National Probation Agency for persons with disabilities has started. 

●Workshops, trainings and study courses are regularly held for increasing qualification of employers. Elaborations of 2017 training plans are also in process. 

●Based on the changes in Juvenile Justice Code, with the support of non-governmental organizations, specialists are being retrained permanently. 

●Elaborations of modules and rehabilitation programs for offenders have been implemented, with the help of professional personnel as well as with the representatives of internal organizations. 

●Implementation of program in managing violent behavior - „ gender violence” are in process in two regions of Georgia – Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Kutaisi. 

●Meetings of working groups of probation are systematically held, in which representatives of state institutions, international and non-governmental organizations participate.
